Consistency rather than accuracy should be the most important characteristic of a well-judged strike zone.
Yesterday, TonePitch, Myles and Scotty threw over 50 uncalled strikes (based on what a normal strike zone is). Thats OK if there was consistency all game for both teams. Funny how the strike zone in the bottom of the last innings mysteriously moved 2 foot off the plate for the opposition pitcher. Two K's later and it was all over red rover for our 5 run last gasp chase.
This was the one that got away.....
